CARE COORDINATION
Care Coordination: Support for Fire Survivors
We understand that this journey can be overwhelming, and we hope you’ll think of us as your partners every step of the way.
The Boys & Girls Club of Malibu Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in partnership with the Malibu Community Long Term Recovery Group is here to support Palisades and Franklin Fire survivors with cost-free long-term recovery services. Care Coordination is a trauma-informed disaster case management (DCM). BGCM and MCLTRG are one of many agencies currently providing DCM to survivors of the recent LA wildfires.
Those who qualify for our services receive:
- Personalized recovery planning: We work with you to identify your most urgent needs and create a personalized recovery plan, connecting you with resources to reach your goals. This may include rebuilding your home, securing housing, regaining financial stability, or replacing essential belongings.
- Resource connection: We assess your unique situation and connect you with available support and resources based on eligibility. Many individuals and families have received grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 through this process.
- Advocacy: You won’t navigate this alone. By understanding community needs, we can advocate for increased resources for the community.
